Guide to Recovery

Detox : Detox is the process an addict goes through while trying to rid their body of various toxins they have been consuming. Detox may be the most difficult stage but it is also the most important. During detoxification the patient is under medical care 24 hours to ensure the process is as safe and as comfortable as possible.

Inpatient Treatment : Inpatient Treatment is a broad term referring to a patient living in a facility during a set period of time. The amount of time one spends in a rehab facility typically ranges from one to three months, but can extend to much longer periods if deemed necessary.

Intensive Outpatient Treatment : IOP is typically routine treatments that an individual will receive on a day to day basis. The patient does not live at the facility allowing them to continue a regular work or school schedule and receives treatment in the morning or evening times before returning back home.

Outpatient Treatment : Outpatient Treatment is any treatment and individual may receive (including medical, psychiatric, etc.) that does not require them to live at the facility.

Sober Living Homes : Sober Living Homes may prove a necessity after completing a treatment program. In order to make the transition to sober life as easy as possible, returning back home may not be the best option. Sober living homes allow the individual to surround themselves with other people who are also trying to stay clean, and provide support in a community environment.
